Four dark-leaved Anthuriums get confused constantly. Here is how to tell them apart on the bench, and how to keep them alive once you do.
The Queen. Leaves pendulous, elongated, often 60–120 cm on a mature plant, with primary veins picked out in pale silver against deep matte green. Petioles are terete and shorter than the blade, which is the giveaway — clarinervium's petiole is roughly the length of its leaf. Slow, sulky in dry air, magnificent when it settles.
