Your plant collection stays on your phone. Leaf People keeps your collection, care schedules, and notes on your device — they aren't uploaded to our servers.
Accounts & subscriptions
When you sign in (with Apple or Google) we create an account through Firebase Authentication to identify you, which stores your name and email address. Premium purchases are handled by Apple, and we use RevenueCat to manage your subscription status. Your account is what lets a subscription also unlock the subscriber stories on this website when you sign in here with the same account. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
Notifications
If you turn on reminders, Leaf People uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver the care and story notifications you opt into.
This website
This marketing site is static and does not set advertising cookies. Our host may keep standard, aggregate server logs (such as IP address and user agent) to operate and secure the site. Newsletter sign-ups are processed by a form provider solely to send you updates you requested; unsubscribe anytime.
Plant identification
If you use AI plant identification, the photo you submit is sent to our identification service to return a result and is not used to build a profile of you. See the in-app disclosure for details.
